Create your QR code

Upload the PDF to your own website or a file service that allows public viewing.
Copy the public viewing link and paste it into Hosted PDF link.
Scan a test code in a signed-out browser to confirm visitors can open the document.

Before you share

This tool does not upload or store PDFs. If the hosting service changes permissions, deletes the document or changes its address, the printed QR can no longer open it.

Choose the right file

SVG keeps the code sharp when resized in a compatible design tool. PNG works well when exported at enough pixels for the final print. The PDF option creates an A4 or A6 print card. Keep the code square; stretching one side distorts the grid.

Does the camera show a link or a prompt?

If a link or action appears, the camera has read the code. An unavailable page, login screen or wrong menu is a destination problem. Open the same address directly in a signed-out browser. For a printed menu, restoring the original address or its public permissions can fix the problem without reprinting.
