The code opens a WhatsApp conversation. It does not send the message automatically; the person scanning chooses whether to send. The destination needs an active WhatsApp account.

Keep the pattern readable

A scanner needs to distinguish the modules from the background and locate the three finder corners. Choose colors that stay distinct from the paper. Our ten presets use white backgrounds, and the color editor constrains choices to preserve contrast. Black remains a useful fallback when printing conditions are uncertain.

Does the camera show a link or a prompt?

If a link or action appears, the camera has read the code. An unavailable page, login screen or wrong menu is a destination problem. Open the same address directly in a signed-out browser. For a printed menu, restoring the original address or its public permissions can fix the problem without reprinting.
